Braves holding block party in Summerhill on Wednesday

On April 9, the Atlanta Braves will return to the neighborhood of the old Turner Field for a block party.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves on Wednesday will return to their old neighborhood for a block party, with a particular emphasis on the anniversary of Hank Aaron’s 715th home run.

The block party in Summerville, where both the old Turner Field and Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium sat, will be held at 3:30 p.m. The team says it will celebrate the anniversary of Hammerin’ Hank hitting No. 715 on April 9, 1974.

“Fans can enjoy activations along bustling Georgia Avenue as the Braves take over to celebrate the beginning of the season while the team is on the road facing the Los Angeles Angels,” the Braves said in a release.

According to the team, the event will include special appearances by Braves entertainment teams, including the mascot Blooper, live performances, a watch party, games and food and drinks.

First pitch for Wednesday’s game is 4:07 p.m. ET. There will be viewing areas along Georgia Avenue and Reed Street in the nearby beer garden.

The event will also host the Braves Country Road Trip, the traveling interactive element that features a “nostalgic experience for fans across the southeast, with each stop to feature a life-size Braves Country map wall, where fans can pin their hometown, represent their corner of Braves Country, and snap a keepsake photo with a real Polaroid camera, just like the road trips of old.”

There’s an anniversary emphasis on the Braves Country Road Trip this year, as well, celebrating the team’s move to Atlanta in 1966.

Parking is primarily available for $10 in the large lot at Georgia Avenue and Hank Aaron Drive.

There are also three available lots down Georgia Avenue, one off Fraser Street behind Hero Diner; one on either side of Reed Street behind Sacred Yoga and Redacted Basement Drink Parlor; and a third off Reed Street behind Southern National.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
