Yellow Jackets are the tournament’s No 2 seed, Georgia No. 3
Georgia Tech and Georgia are both hosting NCAA tournament regionals, with the second-seeded Yellow Jackets opening against the University of Illinois Chicago and the Bulldogs taking on the Long Island Sharks.ย
Each regional field features four teams, playing in a double-elimination format. All 16 regionals are scheduled to be conducted from Friday, May 29 to Monday, June 1.
The two other teams in Atlanta are The Citadel and Oklahoma. Those tickets sold out in seconds.ย
The two other teams headed to Athens are Liberty and Boston College.
Georgia Tech coach James Ramsey said winning the conference was just a first step. The goal is much, much bigger.ย
“At the end of the day, I mean, I think we’d all rather go to Omaha and win a national championship than win the regular season or win the ACC tournament. So, I mean, I think that is what is most important to us.”ย
UCLA is the No. 1 overall seed.
There are 29 Division I Conferences that will receive an automatic berth in the field of 64, along with 35 at-large selections. The Men’s College World Series begins play Friday, June 12, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
If both teams advance, the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets would not play each other until Omaha.ย

Georgia Tech (48-9) enters the tournament after Drew Burress became Georgia Tech’s career leader in home runs, Alex Hernandez drove in four runs, and the Yellow Jackets defeated North Carolina 13-6 this weekend to claim the ACC Baseball Championship for the 10th time.
The Yellow Jackets won the tournament for the first time since 2014.
Georgia (46-12) won its first-ever SEC baseball title, rolling to an 11-1 win in seven innings over Arkansas on Sunday.
The Bulldogs scored five runs on four hits in the first inning, highlighted by RBI-doubles by Rylan Lujo, Brennan Hudson, and a two-run home run from designated hitter Jack Arcamone. Kenny Ishikawa added an RBI single.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a โmoney siteโ in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Googleโs ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as โlink juiceโ) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
